Forever 21 has been on their game lately with their faux leather totes. Many I’ve spotted recently are a close second to the real thing (including this Valentino lookalike.) A few weeks ago, I snagged this classic black tote (under $30!), and thought it would be a great DIY (similar here). Pulling inspiration from this fab Reed Krakoff bag, I added a bit more glitz with a statement stripe.
What You Need: Tote + Mod Podge + Martha Stewart Glitter + Sponge Brush + Painters Tape
- Apply two strips of painters tape, 1.5″ apart.
- Paint Mod Podge between the two pieces of tape, using a sponge brush.
- Immediately apply a generous amount of fine grain glitter on the Mod Podge.
- Let dry, then gently remove tape.
