Last year a trip to the beauty department at Saks, left me with an obsessed with Armani Beauty. I came home with the serum, primer, foundation, powder, bronzer, blush, etc. (the whole shebang) and I’ve been loyal to every product ever since. Last month when I was traveling from LA, my new bronzer took a tumble and shattered. Determined to make it as good as new, I searched Youtube for tutorials.
I came across this Youtube Video, and the simple steps saved the day. Since the video is pretty lengthy, I broke down the steps for an easy quick fix.
What You Need:
- Rubbing Alcohol
- sealable sandwich bag
- flat knife
- a spoon
- a tissue
Pour the contents of the compact into a sealable sandwich bag, let out the air and seal.
Using the spoon, flatten the broken pieces of the compact to form a smooth powder. (It may not come completely smooth)
Put the smoothened powder back into the compact.
Add a small amount of alcohol to the compact, gradually, reaching all areas of the compact.
Using the flat knife, mix the alcohol throughout the compact, to form a paste and smooth out the mixture evenly.
Let dry for one hour.
Once dry, use the tissue to blot the compact, absorbing any excess alcohol.
That coat was one of my favorite pieces from the conference, it went with everything and gave your looks such a chic, polished tone. Lovely! <3
