A New Routine

This week, I was given the green light to resume workouts, and I could not be more ecstatic. I just feel better when I’m  working out daily, and I have never been more motivated to get back in shape.

When I’m working out daily, I tend to stick to all other routines more consistently, like my weekly beauty mask. Since I’m feeling like a new person this week, I decided to switch up my usual mask routine with something new

Lately, I don’t attempt anything without multitasking, as I applied a layer and went on to wash bottles and load up the sertilizer. By the time I was finished, the mask had already dried and was ready to rinse off. The fact that it is quick-drying, makes it so much more seseptable for me to use.

Curious to see how well it “pulled the gunk out of my pores” since it isn’t a peel off mask, I rinsed my face with warm water and was left completely amazed. It wiped my pores clean. I was so impressed with the facial-like results (without the inflammation) that I couldn’t wait to use it again, and feel like my face is clearer than ever. It’s seriously a game changing beauty product.

Weekend Links

  1. This homemade “chicken” soup is essential this weekend, while I’m feeling under the weather. I switched up this recipe a little by adding gluten free noodles and vegan chicken. It can easily be swamped with  chicken, for a non-vegan version.

2. Get a start on your Holiday shopping, while staying warm and cozy. Enjoy 25% off your entire purchase at Kate Spade and Saks.  Kate Spade code: INDULGE   |  Saks code: THANKYOU

3. Looking for Fall inspo? Check out the tablescapes, decor and recipes that have me inspired.

4. Pregnancy has my skin totally out of whack. This mask is one of my go-to’s and so is the cleansing sponge. Definitely trying out this detoxifying cleanser, in this perfectly poreless trio, this weekend.

5. I’m all about cozy cardigans and ponchos right now. All full price apparel is 20% off. Code: FALLFUN

Fall Beauty Buys

As much as I love Fall, the cooler weather does a number on my skin. I tend to turn to creamy moisturizers, hand creams, and hair masks for added moisture. Currently these products are my best beauty buys for the season!

  1. First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – This was one of the goodies I received from Lucky FABB. It’s ultra-moisutrizing & leaves my hands so soft.
  2. Essie Penny Talk – I’m in love with this copper metallic hue.
  3. Essie Recessionista – Another add to the wine family collection so hot this Fall.
  4. Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint in Enchanted – This lip tint is amazing, it lasts all day. Enchanted is a great Fall hue.
  5. Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine – This lip butter is so silky. I love the subtle tint of color.
  6. TwistBand in Cranberry – I’ve acquired quite the collection of these hair ties & headbands. The ultimate solution to hair kinks from hair elastics.
  7. CND Cuticle Eraser – I can’t get enough of this product. It keeps my cuticles well moisturized.
  8. Moroccan Oil Intense Hydrating Mask – This product is so great when temperatures start to drop, and your hair needs a boost of hydration.

The Mask Appeal

When it comes to facial masks, these three are life changers. Being the beauty junkie that I am, I always research reviews to find which have worked best and a good fit for my skin type. The Oxygen Peel is by far the most effective product I’ve tried (after just one use!). After a rare breakout, this product cleared my skin up in three days. Absolutely amazing for scarring and dark spots, also. The Super Collagen Mask is a product I can’t live without. I use it twice a week, and always see improvements as a result. I’ve recommended each to friends and family. The Cucumber Tonic Mask is great for balancing combination skin, and preventing blackheads. I love the soft, healthy glow it gives my skin.

  • Philosophy The Oxygen Peel – Clarity for breakouts, pore tightening, brightening for scarring or dark spots
  • Super Collagen Mask  – Anti-aging, improves fine lines, improves skin’s appearance, texture, and smoothness
  • Cucumber Tonic Mask – Great for combination skin, helps with breakouts and blackheads, softens skin

Lip Repair

Lip Repair

I have found the perfect solution to repair dry, chapped lips.  Mary Kay sells a life changing set called Satin Lips, which consists of a Lip Mask and Balm.  Along with my coveted Kiehl’s Lip Balm, they create a powerful force that can transform any pout to be silky and smooth.  Apply the Lip Mask for 2-5 minutes, remove with a tissue.  Next apply Kiehl’s Lip Balm.  Lastly, apply Mary Kay Lip Balm.  You won’t believe how long the combo keeps your lips moisturized.
