Golden Globes Style

This award show style has, by far, been my favorite. The red carpet was the epitome of a breathtaking fairy tale with two major trends being sheer and embellishment. It was like an Elie Saab dream. Lea Michele may have been the only one sporting the designer, but his signature style seemed to be a major inspiration.

Kerry Washington’s style is one I’ve been stalking. She’s definitely been added to the one to watch list, how incredible was her dress!

Golden Globes Nicole Richie

I’m always a fan of Nicole Richie’s glam red carpet style, and she nailed both beauty and style with this look. Matching your lids to your ensemble is usually a don’t, but Nicole definitely made it a “do.” The blue hues were a hit.

Golden Globes Jessica Alba

Jessica Alba’s coral hues were a fab choice for her golden skin tone and hair color. Her coral pout is a top beauty Spring trend.

Golden Globes Alexander McQueen

Dressed in Alexander McQueen, Nicole Kidman and Kate Hudson looked phenomenal in black with gold accents. Plunging necklines and cutouts were major red carpet trends.

Oscar Best Dressed List

(Getty Images) – Topping off the Winter white Oscar trend, Gwyneth Paltrow looked ah-mazing in her form fitting gown and chic floor length cape.  The intricate diamond cuff and ring top off her stunning ensemble.  She never fails to disappoint with her effortless sleek style.

(via Fashionologie) – Elie Saab ranks somewhere in between dreams and fairytales. The perfect combination of glamour and romanticism, Milla Jovovich dazzled in the ornate gown by the designer.

(via Celebrity-Gossip) – Rooney Mara shied away from her usual dark hued choices, and opted for a romantic fluid gown. I love that she let the dress make a statement, without donning jewelry.

(via Mail Online) – Giuliana Rancic truly shined. The ultimate definition of a oscar gown.

(Getty Images) – Octavia Spencer looked absolutely stunning in this beaded fitted gown. She made perfect choices with color, fit, and sparkle. I couldn’t be happier for her emotional win for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for The Help.

Congratulations to Meryl Streep, ecstatic for her 3rd win & 17th nom!
