DIY: Glitter Envelope Liners

DIY - Glitter Envelope Liners | TheSubtleStatement.com

For my bridesmaid proposals, I planned a weekend brunch to be able to spend time with my girls, let each one get to know each other and give them their gifts. I wanted to add a little sparkle to their invites, and it was so simple and chic.

I purchased a pack of 5 x 7 silver envelopes from Staples and individual sheets of adhesive glitter card stock from Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft.

Cut the card stock to 5 x 7 inches (the envelopes themselves measure 5 1/4 x 7 1/4 inches, giving the liners room to slide in easily.) I used a card stock cutter to keep them even.

Slide card stock into envelope, remove the adhesive strip off of the top and press firmly.

Weekend DIY: Bride Survival Kit

Bride Survival Kit Tote

My best friend got married this weekend, so this past week has been pure craziness. It was a gorgeous wedding, and she was the most beautiful bride! As bridemaids it’s important to be prepared for every mishap, so we put together a survival kit to keep everything in tact. It definitely came in handy when we encountered a few grass stains during pictures!

Bride Survival Tote

I purchased a plain white tote from a craft store, along with glittery iron-on letters, rhinestone iron-on trim, and a floral embellishment that I hot glued on.

The Knot has a full list of essentials to include in your kit. My advice is to pack extra Shout Wipes, and Tide-To-Go pens (nothing’s worse than a white wedding dress stain!)

The essentials were great for the wedding and the reception, but nice for the bride to keep the travel-sized items to bring along on the honeymoon!

Happy Crafting!
