Red White & Blue Breakfast

I’ve always loved fruit & oatmeal for breakfast, but recently I have been adding a new spin, which is full of protein and tastes amazing! It’s super easy to meal prep too! I make a batch on Sunday and prep 4 bowls for the week.

Makes 1 Serving

  •  1/2 Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup Water
  • Cinnamon
  • Pink Himalayan Salt
  • 1/2 cup Plain Unsweetened Yogurt (I use dairy-free Kite Hill)
  • 1 cup Berries
  • Stevia

To make the oatmeal, add oatmeal, water, cinnamon, and salt to a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.

Once cooled, add to a bowl, and layer on yogurt and fresh berries. Enjoy!

**i multiple the recipe by 4 for meal prepping 🙂

Maybe it’s the baby coming, but I have been particularly partial to hues of light blue, as of late! I love incorporating it with neutrals for Spring. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Statement Necklaces

As you probably know, I have a weakness for a good statement necklace. I’ve been sporting a now sold out Anthropologie piece with practically everything this season. When it comes to chic jewelry, J.Crew always delivers, so naturally the latest statement necklace selection to hit their Factory store sale made me more than a little giddy. These fab finds are a major steal and a great foundation to any summer wardrobe–with an additional 30% off they’re hard to resist! [Use code: SALE30]

I have a major weakness for pretty packaging. I love these fun, bold hued tags.

I can’t even begin to express to you my obsession with TJ Maxx. It started as a child, I have always had an eye for unique finds, and there is no better to explore. Carrying a selection of all my favorite things fashion, baking accessories, and home decor, it will always be my fave one-stop shop. With the exception of the pastel mani, all photos were finds from a recent trip this week.

Fall Trend Report – Color

I’m ecstatic for the upcoming Fall trends. The invasion of leather, isn’t going to be taken lightly, along with fur and sleek metallics. Embellishment is on the rise, splattering everything from pants to pumps. Bordeaux drenches everything from shoes, to skirts, to leather jackets. This Summer has been in print overload, but there’s much more in store; think brocades and damasks, psychedelic flair and a trip into the wild. Menswear inspired designs escalate, and art deco minimalism is subtly chic. Let’s break it down by starting with color.

Tagged the color of the season, bordeaux looks super sleek donned in red hot leather and printed patterns. Accessories in the color palette are an instant style update. Boots, handbags, and gloves are risk-free options that are right on trend.

Bold blues serve as chic LBDs, and updated outerwear. Retire your usual black handbag, for a bold statement against any hue. Black and blue are this season’s power couple.

The “no white after Labor Day” rule is long gone. This season is all about chic separates and structured LWDs. Don’t be afraid to don handbags and pumps in the neutral shade.

When in doubt this Fall.. think pink. Find the shade that best suits you, from cotton candy to Schiaparelli pink.
