I can’t visit New York, without dropping by my favorite blowout spot. Caity also joined me for her first Drybar experience. Blowouts and a Ryan Gosling movie started off the morning (which was so appropriate, since we would be showered with Eva Mendes’s graceful presence later in the day.)
The day kicked off with an interview with the absolute fabulous Eva Chen. Her down to earth style, and amazing stories about her effortless fashion choices (she paired her mom’s 90s crop top underneath that stunning dress she was wearing), make her up to everything you would imagine an Editor-in-Chief to be.
Erica Domesek, Gabi Gregg and Alisa Gould gave advice on engaging in the blogging world.
Eva Mendes looked unbelievably stunning. With her incredibly down to earth demeanor, when asked about her footwear, she simply took off her shoe began searching for the designer’s name.
She then asked a blogger to borrow her scarf to demonstrate how she styles her signature head wraps.
Styled in her new line for New York & Co, she explained how heavily involved she is in the process. More excitingly she expressed to us her love for the vintage belt she paired for under $3!
Then never less than fab, Bryanboy discussed his insanely unique fashion choices when starting his blog.
Lindsey Calla from Saucy Glossie discussed choosing the right brands and changing up your blogging routine.
Post-wedding glow and all, Kate Bosworth gushed about her wedding day, Oscar de la Renta, and her new collection for TopShop (that she came decked in, looking so effortlessly edgy-chic) She really emphasized her love for fashion as a reflection of one’s inner self, and I couldn’t agree more.
I visited Covet to explore their fun new styling app.
The most fashionable cookies I ever did see.
Discussing DIYs with Erica Domesk was definitely a highlight.
