Barely There

In need of a makeup refresher, I headed over to the bareMinerals booth at the IFB Conference. After trying out a couple of new products, I was on my way with a gift bag, filled with their newest foundation, precision brush, concealer and concealer brush.

While getting ready for Lucky FABB the next morning, I decided to test out the READY SPF 20 Foundation. To my surprise it was incredibly lightweight, yet had great coverage. Unfortunately I wasn’t matched the correct color, so with the help of bronzer, I was able to achieve the color of my skin tone. I later ordered my correct color from Nordstrom. Β Their color palette made it easy to find the true match. Choose a color that appears darker than your skin tone. I was originally matched with Medium Beige, but Medium Tan was my best match.

I love the idea of wearing something lightweight, that doesn’t feel like a mask. The Precision Face angled brush makes it really simple apply the foundation evenly, even around hard to reach spots like around the nose. It looks completely natural, and after a long day at Lucky FABB, no touch-up needed. I’ve been using it ever since!

If you would like to learn more about the foundation, this Thursday, September 27th at 12pm PDT / 3pm EDT Creator of bareMinerals, Leslie Blodgett, and Celebrity Makeup Artist, Fiona Stiles will be LIVE on Facebook at http://www.Facebook.com/bareMinerals. They will show you how to get Red Carpet Ready and introduce the bareMinerals Ready SPF 20 Foundation. Join the conversation at #bareMineralslive. Tune in the first ten minutes of the show for a chance to win an exclusive bareMinerals giveaway.
