The excitement of fashion week isn’t only about the upcoming trends. The front row stirs up just the amount of excitement as the runway. One of my favorite attendees, Olivia Palermo, takes the title for “best dressed,” as she breezes through NYFW and LFW in phenomenal style.

Summer style sizzled at last night’s Teen Choice Awards. My top picks for showing off the lastest trends include Zoe Saldana, Nina Dobrev, Lucy Hale and Gwen Stefani. Zoe’s geometric prints are right on trend, and one that will be transitioned into Fall. She proves that a cropped top can definitely be done in a tasteful way. Nina’s hi-lo dress is such a chic Summer option. For a casual option, go for a skirt version of the trend. Lucy’s cut out fit and flare dress is simply sleek. Cut outs make a modern statement without the addition of eye catching accessories. I’m loving Gwen’s retro meets modern style. Sleeveless versions of classic staples like leather and denim jackets are great for Summer layering.

It’s Day One of the Cannes Film Festival, and this glimpse of fabulous fashion has me in suspense of what is yet to come. Style crush, Diane Kruger, looked absolutely stunning in soft, fluid mint, and chic in a trendy fit and flare frock. (Did I mention I’m dying over her fabulous Jimmy Choos? Swoon.)

The Costume Institute Gala truly bears it’s name, with full-fledged celeb fashion. Somewhere in between the over-the-top and the just not enough, fell A-list style. Berry lips were the top beauty trend among attendees, and metallic fabrics flourished the red carpet. Jessica Alba’s fabulous goddess glam look takes the cake.

At Saturday’s Film Independent Spirit Awards, stars donned all that is hot among Spring trends.

Zoe Saldana rocked a flirty Balmain mini, combining the season’s florals and mixed prints. Steal her style with this adorable find from Miss Sixty.

This isn’t the first time, Elizabeth Olsen has been spotted sporting an all white ensemble this month.  The Antonio Berardi piece makes a statement, looking elegant and chic.

Michelle Williams took a fashion risk in a Louis Vuitton short suit.  Although I admire her confidence, an understated pastel shade from the designer’s SS12 runway would have softened the look and complemented her fair skin tone.

Perfectly accessorized in gold, Kate Beckinsale stunned in a bold magenta Diane von Furstenberg jumpsuit. Would you dare to wear this bold jumper from Asos, as a sleek alternative to a skirt or dress?

2012, award, best, dressed, elie saab, fashion, giuliana rancic, givenchy, gown, gwyneth paltrow, milla jovovich, octavia spencer, oscars, rooney mara, season, tadashi shoji, tom ford, tony ward, trends, white, winter

(Getty Images) – Topping off the Winter white Oscar trend, Gwyneth Paltrow looked ah-mazing in her form fitting gown and chic floor length cape.  The intricate diamond cuff and ring top off her stunning ensemble.  She never fails to disappoint with her effortless sleek style.

(via Fashionologie) – Elie Saab ranks somewhere in between dreams and fairytales. The perfect combination of glamour and romanticism, Milla Jovovich dazzled in the ornate gown by the designer.

(via Celebrity-Gossip) – Rooney Mara shied away from her usual dark hued choices, and opted for a romantic fluid gown. I love that she let the dress make a statement, without donning jewelry.

(via Mail Online) – Giuliana Rancic truly shined. The ultimate definition of a oscar gown.

(Getty Images) – Octavia Spencer looked absolutely stunning in this beaded fitted gown. She made perfect choices with color, fit, and sparkle. I couldn’t be happier for her emotional win for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for The Help.

Congratulations to Meryl Streep, ecstatic for her 3rd win & 17th nom!
